Sometimes you just need a little luck

Finals

So everyone got screwed by the Financial Accounting paper. Apparently the professors got bored and decided ok, let's slay these ungrateful students this year. So they made a question that was 28 marks and placed it at the back of the paper. Yup, you did not read wrongly, it was a bloody 28 marks question. It was a literal bloodbath as I could see people almost in tears after the paper.
GOODBYE FINANCIAL ACCOUTNING

I was also immensely annoyed, because FA was supposed to be my best subject since it's plain Math and to be it's simple, add subtract divide mutiply WHAM you solve the question. However, this time my confidence took a beating for I could not solve the last question. I could not figure out how to produce the proper cashflow statement. I was really at a lost and was afraid I screwed up the first paper i took in like 129312 years.
Pray to the one and only true god
However, after talking to Celeste, she put things in perspective for me. Since we operate on a bell curve system, if I could not solve the question and like almost everybody cannot solve it, we could actually omit the 28 marks and compete for the 72 marks. I was really glad i talked to her as it just made me happier as I had a power nap and continued to study Stats.

Sometimes, you don't know how well you would do, no matter how hard you screwed up, not matter how confident you were after you finished the paper, all you can do is wait for the result. And when waiting for it, isn't it better to face it with a smile rather than sulking.

That's what i would do for there's no point crying over spilled milk.
Even when the road is tough, walk it with a smile.

Cheers
