What if no matter what you do, things still go wrong?
I really hate it when things get out of your hand. When things go wrong and it is due to my own actions, I would say yea, that's my fault I admit it. However, when things go astray and it is entirely out of your control despite your best efforts to contain the situation who do you blame? Do you blame it on divine retribution?
Nope, sometimes in life I have learnt that shit will just hit the ceiling whether you make an effort to alter the situation or not. Plenty of times you would dwell on the matter and keep thinking on whether you can salvage the situation. But the best solution was to always let go. Let the problem grow on it's on and eventually it would stop growing. That is when you would then go in and tackle it.
It's week 11 now which means that projects are slowly rolling in. The past few weeks have been really fun and I would summarise it below.
Week 8: Pre OCSP
We headed down to a RC at Kovan to teach the kids English. The kids who were learning there have changed, they were no longer from the low-income family but from those who are rather well-off. It did not really matter as they were equally playful. I was in charge of a group of kids and one of them was hyperactive. It meant that he would jump around and had really short attention span. I had to calmly talk to him and keep asking him to settle down. Though it drained a lot of my energy, I really found it rewarding when he smiled at me as we played the games we had in store with him.

Week 8: Natalie's house
I haven't met my freshies for a long time and I was really wondering how they were faring in school. All my worries were put away as I found out some of them were in the same module and they even grouped together. They were chatting and constantly laughing throughout the night which really warms my heart. I have done my part for them as I was able to bring them close together and they bothered to make an effort to stay close even after FTB has ended. Now I finally have graduated from being a faci :')

Week 10: Fundraising
Week 10: Elevator Pitch Practice & DLP
The topic I was given for Management Communication was greening Singapore. Most of the people would have spoke about HDB and building new parks but I decided to take the exotic route. I decided to be a Mango tree planting business and talked to a bunch of investors. The class was in laughter as I gave my speech from start to end. Even though in the middle I lost my train of thought, I was able to think on my feet and talk about how nice my company's mango was. I was really glad my way of giving a speech was working as I really love injecting humour when i speak.

I even had time to meet up with the FTB run 3 facis as we went on some gourmet club event. The place we went to was called the pizza collection and we were able to build our own pizza. We had fun building it and we even played games to clear the leftover food. Now I know that I officially suck at 总计密码.
