CNY 2016

The CNY custom continues as I Dota with the Toxic Crew from 12 to 5.30. Then I just woke up cos my dad say got Bak kwa to eat. End up its a scam because he just wanted to remind me its my bro's birthday today. WAH time flies I still remember last year I still poking fun at him that he will drop out of NTU cos of his cui GPA. Then now his bday fall on CNY. Really whole world celebrating for him sia. Hope that his angbao got more money inside, and when he misplace them they would be mine πŸ˜ˆπŸ˜ˆ
Yesterday I was semi high with random strangers in Dota so I decided to teach some people manners. Their death rate was so high that I told them to just not move as they would be doing more harm than good by moving out of the base. Of course they didn't heed my advice and proceeded to get murdered by the enemies again and again. So I had to take matters into my own hands as I started to reeducate them on the ethics of Dota and life.
The two strangers on my team were the "Pudge" and the "Alchemist" and their deaths combined together for a whooping 36. To put things into perspective, our team died 55 times in total. They contributed to 65% of the deaths when they are just 40% of the team. So I decided I have the right to educate them on Dota, and on life. And so the reformation program begins.
I started telling them to don't move and stay in the base. But they kept arguing with me and started to hurl vulgarities at me in Tagalog (Pinoy language). Well well, to their surprise I understood their hometown language and I replied in orderly fashion. I kindly told them to stop being and idiot but it backfired. So my words got harsher and harsher. Eventually they kept silent and listened to me but educating them took a toll on our team play and we lost the game.
On a side note, it wasn't just me who was educating them on life. My other friend was also teaching them some manners in his own friendly way. However his method was worse than mine. He literally add them as friends and spammed them messages to quit Dota. After a while of spamming and questioning their plays harshly, the game ended and this happened.
Yes this is from the perspective of my friend. Halfway through the game he picked up his mic and told us he couldn't type in chat because he was muted. "STRIPED of communication privileges" was what happened HAHAHAH so the toxic crew reached a new dimension as only 3 of us were friends irl. The other two were strangers and my friend started to talk trash about them using mic. Of course at this rate, every other game we needed to change the other two players cos we were too toxic.
Toxic crew. Poisonous crew. Whatever you call us we will still be educating the Dota 2 community on life in the present and the future.

Until then.

Day 2

Every year CNY is a time of discovery. This year I found out that I have a cousin who was same age as me on my mothers side. Okay to put things into perspective, my mom has 11 siblings and their offsprings add up together to be more than 30. After that some of them are like 20 years older than me with family of their own alr. So pretty much people gave up introducing us to each other after a while and it is only up to us to talk to our own cousins and catch up on life.
It is seemingly impossible to keep up with all of my cousins and even with those on my dad's side. Luckily my dad only has 3 other siblings so I have a grand total of 6 cousins there only. We were pretty much a close knit family and every time we see each other it was like free flow of bull shit. They asked me about what Smu taught me in business and asked if they have finally taught me the art or fraud and scamming people for money. Wtf these people legit think I study business to scam people.
Look at my love letters. My nephews happened. I only realised they destroyed my bottle of goodness when my cousin pointed it out just now. Oh well. Once a year let them break my stuff should be fine bah. When I see them in 3 weeks time I will teach them some lessons by breaking their toys πŸ˜ˆ
Finally this year we can continue our tradition of KTV on 初二. For the past 2 years we weren't able to do this due to numerous reasons. It was really cool to hang out with my paternal cousins at the karaoke. Despite most of our voice breaking during singing, it was really fun. The point of Chinese New Year was to forget everything at hand. Forget the stress at work. Forget the stress at school. Live in the moment and just enjoy the company of the most important people in your life, your family.
And that concludes Chinese New Year. And really I feel glad I didn't do much studying for the past few days. I am going to start full throttle for marketing mid terms on Friday and finance on next Tuesday. It's time to pull the GPA up. I cannot stand being shit on my other people in Smu anymore. It's time to get those first As in SMU. Most importantly, I need to prove to myself that when I really fucking study with no distractions I can do well.
