Convoc

Before we go on what had happened during convocation, i would like to scribble about our first bondue group gathering post bondue camp.

Almo being a nice guy decided to invite us over to his house to chill and lepak. We headed over there through separate parties since only Cheng Hui, Bertrand and YP had cars. Personally, i met up with Evania, Amanda, Zhi Ying and Louis before we tompang CH's car to Almeric's house.

As expected, Alexus had already reached and extended invites to us as if it was his own house. It was gracious of him to do so and Elizabeth had already reached. Shortly after the whole group had gathered and the food started to roll in.

 Bertrand brought some macarons to Almeric house and we wolved it down within minutes. Luckily we remembered to take a photo of it before we gulped it down.

The meal was sumptous with both thai food and dominos pizza. There was so much pizza that I had to finish both Evania's and Amanda's since they could not finish theirs. We gathered around to have small talks and we get to find out more about one another.

Later on, we went up to Almo's room group by group to take a look at his room. Well, i have to say it was gorgeous and the design was slick. It made his room look even bigger than it already supposed to be. Some day I hope to be able to design my room and make it look as smooth as his.

Well, all good things had to come to an end and we parted ways just as Tenny arrived HAHAHA. A few of them stayed to accompany the latecomer while the rest of us went home for some beauty sleep.

Wednesday soon rolled in and i realised i did not have a white shirt for convocation as apparently the shirt i wore to work last time was of beige color. I was really on panic mode as i made a mad rush to Parkway to secure my white shirt.

Here's to explain why i had my convocation and i am still in university. The thing is SMU likes to do things differently and apparently convocation is the start of our college days and not the end of it. So they would coerce us to dress up in white and black and watch some performaces in the freezing Suntec Hall while trying to bore us to death.

I was giving directions to an Ang Moh couple who didn't know how to walk to City Hall from Suntec as Tenny and Louis met up. We made our way up to the hall where we split up into groups to find our FTB group. As usual Kuan He was the centre of attention as he began his usual rubbish spiting which was both informative and delirious.

The event soon started as we  were ushered into the hall. The beginning wasn't too bad as the Master Jedi Speech was pretty much hilarious. However when the Prime Minister Secretary gave her speech, it was monotonous which may or may not have sparked the beginning of people walking out to take photos. This event made me realised how hard it was to take photos with different group of friends.

The bondue group walked out and we decided to have a meal at Soup Spoon which culminated in Dom having his own dinner while the rest of us watched him eat. Tenny offered to help the FTB group buy Koi and we ended up separating as Zhi Ying and I followed him to Koi for our Green Tea Machiato Fix. For those who don't know, there's only one way to drink machiato and that's using the cutter, poke a damn hole and drink it. Don't use the straw as you would not be able to taste the froth fully.

We proceeded back upstairs to watch Fang Yu's performance. However, the whole Samba Marsala was wearing masks and we couldn't tell one person from another since they all had the same hairstyle. All our efforts to watch a performance by our "Best Faci"!

That was all for the photos as the remaining 6 of us decided to head over to Bugis for steamboat.
(After an hour long discussion of where to eat since we all are indecisive idiots hahaha)

Almeric joined us later during supper since he had day 0 for YOLO camp. Some of them had to leave early as they had camp. Apparently the big CSP camps decided to go full retard mode and make their camps happen on the same days. I don't get it, if you want more people to join, why not seperate out the dates so people can join multiple camps instead of one. Anyways i made a huge step in life as i decided to join Broadcast and Entertainment Camp by myself. Hope i will meet even more awesome people there while having fun.
