Week 8

SAY HI to the new Marketing cum Fundraising director of Project Taiyang VI! We had a closed meeting whereby the exco members hashed things out so as to determine who got what position. It was pretty much decided even before we walked in as Pin Yi became the leader while Jing Yang was the co-leader. What was most important was that Grace gave us an ultimatum and said she would not want to come back if she was not given the top 3 positions Oh well, sometimes in life, we don't need you too :)

Week 9

I realised that its really hard to find time to spare to update on my life but it's cool, since I was having fun and was put under heavy stress for the past month. Let's rewind all the way back to recess week whereby I invited 24/10 to my house.

Oh yea, I decided to be nice and invite them to my house for steamboat. This was because Emm decided it was functional to ask us about our schedule before asking Mr Ang about his. So his new child was going to be born (during recess week) when we decided to visit him. Teck Yan was not really keen on opening his house too so I decided to be a nice guy (Disclaimer: I always am) and extend invitation to the class.

I spent the morning peeling squids, cutting mushrooms and sorting out sausages. But 24/10 was late as usual which really irked me. If somebody gives you a stipulated timing to get to his house for a meal, you jolly well make it a point to get there on time. Oh well, can't really blame them so I had to put all the raw dishes into the fridge before they came. They arrived duly an hour late while i was busy doing PWR. So i didn't really felt like entertaining them after they pissed me off.

However, it was chinese new year after all, so I just sucked it up and decided to talk to them. It was cool catching up with each of them, especially Martin and Ping which I don't see often. Quite cool how much commitment they can put into their work with Martin rushing off after a while and Ping disappearing. Vivi and Yeshen came late but it culminated in the gambling session. I got wrecked by Teck Yan, Zuhair, Lim Pin and Yeshen in the opening rounds as I went more than 10 dollars down. But luck was by my side as I secured double aces, and continued with 2 rounds of 20. I pretty much turned the tables with these 3 rounds and even Cass was surprised that I won so much. That sums up a day of fun joy and laughter as we trudged on with our daily lives.

Week 11

Time flew past quite fast in week 10 as it was crunch time. The only exciting thing that happened was that Jiamin and Ervin convinced me to donate almost 10 dollars into their OCSP while I got a pretty nice coke float from Vind's OCSP. I had 2 quizzes, 1 presentation and 1 report due this week and it was a hell of a week as it started with a meeting on sunday! Weeeee dont we all just love sunday meetings? Nice to see Hengfu after a long time though

The days were packed as hell as we rushed about meetings. Tuesday was when we went down to interview a leader for LTB. It was quite cool to find out that she has more than 1000 customers and really dominated the concrete market with her sales. Finally done with presentation and bizlaw report on thursday as there was a meeting with the LTB group on friday. We hashed out some details and end up convinced that the only was to secure an A was to dress up as construction workers for LTB.
