ONE DAY IN JB

After planning and planning to go overseas for a long time we finally managed to get our shit together and make our way across the border. Even though it wasn't overseas (i.e Thailand which got cancelled because someone decided to bomb that area), I thoroughly enjoyed myself despite waddling through puddles halfway through the trip.
THIS WAS AT 12PM whereby WE JUST REACHED THE CHECKPOINT. LITERALLY MOUNTAIN PEOPLE MOUNTAIN SEA. There was no coordination and no clear queue so we just squeezed our way into the middle of a human traffic and managed to start queuing for our passports to be chopped at the JB checkpoint
THIS WAS AT 1PM. We have been waiting for an hour. After 5 people fainted and 60 minutes of twiddling our thumbs and color switch, we managed to finally see the counter. Apparently it's legal to cut queue at immigration, so I decided to test my luck.
Apparently testing your luck works as we squeezed out way to the front but unfortunately, the workers started to change shift so their efficiency diminished by a hell lot. By almost 2pm I was finally able to see the freaking counter
WOOHOO FINALLY PASSED CUSTOMS WTF AFTER 2 HOURS OF WAIT LOL
We walked around city square mall a while before heading over to "the best chicken chop in town" cafe. The chicken chop was not bad and the wedges was the bomb. It was really made of real potato, like we can really taste that it's half of a potato.
AS it started to rain, we decided to pass our time by ordering a plate of fried rice. It was damn nice though the prawns was really lacking. Overall we each spent around 8 SGD for chicken chop, root beer float, some egg omelette and the fried rice.
Got see people so excited with towels or not
Okay so before our iced tea adventures let me remind you that it was raining heavily. Being the ignorant idiots we were, two of us didn't bring our umbrella while only Ronghao did. So 3 idiots were sheltered under this small umbrella as we walked the streets of JB. It was all well until we all stepped into a huge ass puddle of water. The water splashed over all of our head and pants so we had to buy towel from a supermarket to dry our heads, after that, Han Ren became damn high.
The hipster container cafe

We had some Thai Iced Milk Tea at this place called Chaiwala Tea. It was a container cafe and got some hipster feel so we didn't want to feel outdated and tried it out. Unfortunately the Thai Iced Milk Tea wasn't that great, it tasted more of like milk tea with too much milk. Oh well, maybe we should have tried their other drinks instead.

These idiots tried to buy pen for their girlfriends but figured out that the price was around the same for pens in Singapore and Malaysia
Because you can afford to take photographs when you 3 are the only ones in the theatre

THE BEST 6 BUCKS SPENT IN JB. THE MOVIE WAS SO STUPID THAT I LAUGHED THROUGHOUT. KUDOS TO THE SCRIPT WRITER AS HE WROTE THOSE PARODY CATCH PHRASES OF STARWARS AND INCULCATED IT INTO THE MOVIE. A MUST WATCH IMHO
Me dreaming of the awesome food in JB
LOOK AT OUR DELICIOUS DINNER. apparently this store just opened today and the owner was really dedicated to serving his customers. It was a tad pricey as we spent around 13 SGD each which made it equivalent to eating YOOGANE in Singapore
WE HAD SOME DIRT CHEAP MAGNUM WHILE BREATHING THE LAST FEW MINUTES OF MALAYSIAN AIR

FINALLY HEADING BACK TO SINGAPORE WOOHOO

My snaps from that trip! Apparently some of the videos cannot work when I import them over from Dayre so bear with it! Now I can't wait for the next adventure with these 2 idiots. Definitely the best takeaway from BMT.
