SPCA adventure

WAH SPCA DAMN FAR. LITERALLY JOURNEY TO THE WEST. WHO SETS UP A ANIMAL SHELTER IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE SIA.

After an hour or so of journey we finally found this place. It was literally in the middle of nowhere, there was a flower nursery beside it and that was all.

We had the chance to talk to the fundraising cum education officer of SPCA today despite her being busy and all. She gave us honest feedback about our idea which really helps our project a lot. Honestly I was shocked by her hospitality because she was very warm and welcoming towards us. She treated us like friends and even offered to show us around the shelter after the meeting.

Yes there are rabbits at SPCA too

Food more interesting than humans

We donated 5 bucks to SPCA at the end of the day!

我也要说说在新加坡🇸🇬发生的意外。两名维修人员在工作中不幸身亡。这能说是公司的错，但也是每个人的错。哪里有大白天去修🚇却没人阻止他们。真的是每个人的错。如果您不埋冤为什么地铁那么的慢他们也不会大白天去修地铁道吗。真的是他妈的笨的人民。安息吧两位工作人员。🙏🏻

Internship Arc

GUESS WHO'S LATE FOR THE FIRST DAY OF WORK??

Anyways the whole day was filled with random stuff. The people was friendlier than I thought and 10 out of the 13 interns here were from SMU which made things much much simpler. I chatted with most of the interns across the day and found out some of us work on the same level so we can have lunch together ☺️

We started the day with some orientation and we had to present on what we know about Singapore pools. We played Black and white and me and another guy lost. So he held the sheet of paper up while I blabbers my way through. Not bad for a presentation on the spot. Afterwards we did some paper work before heading down to the first floor for some buffet lunch. But horrors of horrors they just throw a bomb at us and tell us senior management is going to be here.

So I spent the next 1,5 hours of my life listening to the CFO talk about multiple issues and implications in today's society. I figured out 2 main points from conversing with him for so long.

1) always be forward looking

We are talking about predicting the trends of the future based on historical happenings. According to him the world is going to shit soon.

2) USA is going into dipshit

Basically he bulldozed trump candidacy and then told us shit is about to get down in the free world.

We went around visiting numerous Singapore pool outlets as part of the orientation programme

Fking unglam but shows that I am still good at talking cock on the spot

SHAG faces by the end of the day

Now need to wait so long for dinner. Work really ended too early today 😂

Happening morning. Almost fell asleep at a department meeting and spent the morning trying to set up my internet connection on my computer.

I during lecture also never take down so much notes wtf

My supervisor just went on 2 day leave. So basically we were left unchecked and a bunch of guys brought me and my buddy to lunch. Had some boat noodles at Pomo and then still desert. By the time we come back almost 2pm Liao. Luckily, they decided to get their shit together and give me some work to do. Now need to do some intensive research Liao sia. GGWP.

LOL some auntie brought me egg tart and ice barley and told me welcome abroad. Is it the people here over friendly ☺️

Just day 4 of internship and my buddy had a mini panic attack as she deleted a few rows of our excel sheet. Had to calm her down before we proceed onto recovering our lost data.

FINALLY SUBMITTED FIRST PROJECT. WAH my buddy check and recheck and checked our work again before sending gg. We got an OCD person on the loose here.

Went down for site visit today! Discovered some cool stuff about Singapore pools that cannot be shared wtf. Just realised we are rapidly moving towards the future with these new technology in place soon. Betting just got revolutionized in a heartbeat.

A day of staring at street directory.

My buddy couldn't eat durian puff so I had to eat her half eaten durian puff. Then the auntie at work threw another one at me as she treat me as the office rubbish bin. Now my mouth stink of durian and I think the security guard at the mrt would stop me and think I am bringing durians onboard.

TWO MORE DAYS TO WEEKENDS!!

My buddy decided to tag along and go home with me despite my repeated hints at not wanting her to follow me. She really non stop talking. She told me about herself, her family, her boyfriend, her house, her handling of things... I just nodded and chipped in an occasional yes and ya cool. But I think she didn't catch it and just blabberred on. Need to on my filter for crap in my head and I was just thinking of what hero to pick for Dota later. Gets off at the same stop as me wtf. Got so suay one or not. But okay, Han Ren being a nice person entertained her all the way from Rochor to kembangan. Bade farewell to her, cursed the rain and started the walk home.

Pretending to do work for the past 1 hour plus.. How I wish I can update my blog at work.

And I found out my buddy is a tree hugger. I just got educated on how to recycle metal, glass and even paper. Did you know paper cannot be recycled more than one time cos it will degrade? #nerdalert
